The prism uses high-refractive-index optical glass "Bak4" to suppress limb darkening. The lens is made entirely of optical glass without using plastic, achieving a sharp central image.
We aimed for high light transmittance with a 7-9 layer multi-coat that is usually used only for high-end binoculars and has extremely low reflection.
