This ED refers to ED glass (special low-dispersion glass). An ED lens is a lens that uses special low-dispersion glass. The lens transmits light linearly in the central portion, but has a high refractive index in the peripheral portion, so that it has a prism-like property and bleeding occurs in the image. In the sense of suppressing the occurrence, it refers to a lens made of glass made of a material with an abnormal light dispersion rate (prism phenomenon is unlikely to occur).
