Tanaka Colt Detective Special .38 Special 2-inch Second Issue R-model Steel Finish Model Gun
-The Detective Special has undergone extensive modifications, resulting in a reborn "R-model" with improved reproducibility, durability, and ease of use.
-The grip is equipped with a pressed weight, and the exterior features anti-reflective grooves on the front and rear sights, as well as anti-slip serrations on the trigger, faithfully recreating the details of the second-type Colt Detective from 1946 onward.
-In addition to re-plating the barrel, frame, and trigger, the hammer color has been changed to a gray steel finish, and the sides have been polished to resemble the original finish.

The Detective Special has undergone extensive modifications, resulting in the reborn "R-model" with improved reproducibility, durability, and operability.
The cylinder lockup issue (a change in timing between trigger movement and cylinder rotation) that occurred in the previous model due to the faithful reproduction of the Colt mechanism has been addressed by a revised rebound lever with a two-piece structure made of sturdy press and die-cast steel, preventing misalignment over the long term.
The grip is equipped with a pressed weight, and the exterior features anti-reflective grooves on the front and rear sights, as well as anti-slip serrations on the trigger, faithfully recreating the details of the 2nd Type from 1946 onwards, which are commonly associated with the Colt Detective.
A steel finish model has been added to this variation.
In addition to changing the plating on the barrel, frame, and trigger, the hammer color has been changed to a gray steel finish, and the sides have been polished to resemble the finish of the time.
In Colt's history, which has contributed greatly to the evolution of revolvers, the Detective Special is considered a masterpiece of a compact double-action revolver. This is a must-have item for model gun enthusiasts and many others.
