Product Description
A nickel-plated model is being added to the popular M27 variations.
In catalogs from that time, when stainless steel models were not yet common, some guns had a nickel-plated surface to prevent rust, and many models had nickel-finish models.
Nickel-plated models were popular not only for their prevention of corrosion caused by sweat during long periods of carrying, but also for their beautiful appearance.
Nowadays, stainless steel is the mainstream in real guns, and guns that are nickel-plated have become rare due to the hassle of cleaning.
This is a reproduction of a nickel-plated model from circa 1970-1979.
The tapered 3-1/2-inch barrel is checkered from the frame to the barrel, including the rear sight base. The counterbored cylinder, which covers the rim of the ammunition due to the unreliability of primers (detonators) of the time and to withstand the high-pressure cartridges, as well as the semi-wide hammer and narrow trigger, are all nickel-plated using Tanaka's specialty plating technology.
The beauty of the nickel plating, which extends to every corner, from the frame to the cylinder and barrel, is stunning.
The cartridge used is the .357 Magnum. The interior of this model conforms to the latest version 2 of Tanaka's S&W N-frame model guns, meticulously recreating not only the exterior but also the smooth trigger feel of a high-end model.
The legendary .357 Magnum revolver features a lustrous nickel-plated finish, achieved with modern Reiwa technology.
This gun will become the centerpiece of your collection and will be enjoyed for years to come.
