A model of the 5-inch model produced in the early days.
The tapered 5-inch barrel has checkering on the top surface from the frame to the barrel, including the rear sight base, and reproduces the classic and new charm of the 1970s 5-inch model, including the counterbored cylinder that covers the rim of the ammunition to withstand the unreliability of the primers (detonators) of the time and the high-pressure cartridges, the semi-wide hammer and narrow trigger, and the service-sized grip.
The 3.5-inch and 5-inch models were discontinued in 1979, so they are now considered to be rare models.
