This all-silver model gun is modeled after the nickel-plated P229. This model is based on the all-heavyweight model and has a painted finish (note: the barrel is not made of heavyweight material), enhancing its authenticity and solidity.
The paint is a "warm silver" finish, reminiscent of a nickel-plated finish, with a warm silver hue. Everything except the barrel is "all-heavyweight." This is the only Tanaka model gun to use the .357SIG cartridge.
The distinctive bottleneck shape is modeled after the .357SIG bullet, which was developed to deliver the power of a .357 Magnum in an automatic pistol. While the internal mechanism is the same as the Evolution 2 (9mm Para type), it comes standard with a four-hole "Kaion Top" for a powerful firing sound.
