[Custom points of slide assembly] Under the supervision of Keiichi Kunimoto, WA has challenged itself to reproduce a masterpiece that still shines today, even after half a century has passed. The slide is based on the National Match slide, which features a slanted block-shaped cocking serration and a flat top with anti-reflective ribs on the top surface. In order to reproduce the texture of high-quality gun blue, the carbon black heavy weight slide is polished on both sides and then blued (blackened) one by one. The front is fitted with a triangular steel ramp sight, which is suitable for quick draws from a holster and prevents clothing from getting caught. The barrel bushing, which is thicker than that of a regular government gun and was carved by Hogue from solid stainless steel, is reproduced as an alloy part finished with a matte silver baked paint.
