Product description
Colt has revived the classic belly gun (a large caliber handgun for close combat) in modern times, and this model is upgraded with a premium specification featuring a packer wood grip with beautiful wood grain unique to laminated materials. [Colt's Agent reborn in modern times] The Colt Agent was the name of a snubnose (short-barreled) revolver released in 1955. Colt released the Detective Special in 1927 as the first double-action revolver with a 2-inch barrel, followed by the Colt Cobra in 1950, which used a light alloy frame to reduce weight. The Agent was developed in 1955 as a concealed carry version of the Cobra with an even shorter frame to compete with Smith & Wesson's Chief's Special, which came later. The New Agent, which inherited its DNA, is a large-caliber subcompact automatic pistol based on the Colt Government platform. There are two main categories of subcompacts. One is a small handgun designed specifically for portability from the beginning, such as the SIG P365. The other is a cut-down, compact version of a full-size model used for military and police use, and the New Agent falls into the latter category. In the latter case, compared to small-caliber self-defense handguns called sub-calibers, it is said to be a superior category as a more practical concealed carry or home protection handgun by downsizing while keeping the power of the ammunition the same.
