[Nighthawk chosen by professionals] At WA, the Nighthawk Custom, which is trusted by professionals called fables as their absolute companion, has been modeled as a custom gun that can be used in modern tactics. This model is built as a commander-class tactical gun that combines a single-stack (single-row magazine) frame, which is said to be full-size based on Colt's Government, and a 4-inch barrel-sized slide. A distinctive feature of this rifle is the threaded barrel equipped with an M14 screw for mounting a silencer, and the enhanced Picatinny rail makes it easy to attach optical equipment such as weapon lights, and the concept of a professional spec rifle is seen in the view of use in limited spaces such as indoors and covert operations. [Custom points of the slide assembly] The slide is based on a blank Commander class. The slide top is engraved with 30 LPI (lines per inch) serrations. Similarly, the back of the slide is checkered with 40 LPI to prevent light reflection when sighting. Block-shaped cocking serrations are provided at the rear of the slide, which are effective when loading with gloved hands. All of these are luxuriously reproduced by machine processing, including the iconic logo mark of a fiercely flapping hawk on the left side. The dovetailed front sight is a white point specification. Combined with a low-mounted tactical rack rear sight that reduces snagging on clothing, etc., it demonstrates an excellent sight picture. The front part of the rear sight is deeply recessed and also functions as a cocking shoulder, and has a form that is effective when holding the top of the slide in the opposite hand. The machined aluminum bushing-type barrel is equipped with M14 threads (positive threads) that allow a silencer to be attached directly without the need for an adapter. The barrel body is made of machined aluminum with consideration for weight reduction to reduce the effect of slide drive when a silencer is attached. [Custom points of the frame assembly] The Picatinny rail integrally molded into the dust cover part of the frame is a regular length with three slits, which is currently the mainstream, and can be attached to any size of equipment. The Ambidextrous extended thumb safety, which can be operated from the left or right, has a snag-free, minimalist design with the rear of the lever cut out, which helps prevent accidental operation. The hammer uses a ring-shaped skeleton hammer with a faster lock time. The high-ride grip safety is designed to prevent the hammer from hurting the base of the thumb when the grip is gripped at a high position, but the memory bump at the bottom allows for high operability, allowing the grip safety to be released without even thinking about it. A robust magazine well with a wide magazine insertion port is attached to the bottom of the frame, ensuring quick mag changes. The Smith & Aleexander type magazine well, designed as an integral part of the spring housing, has checkering engraved to the bottom end of the well, providing an excellent grip. The grip panel, which features an impressive dimple-like anti-slip pattern also known as a golf ball texture, is reproduced with heavy weight material. Scallop processing has been added to the left side of the panel, assisting easy access to the magazine catch button. The slide and frame made of carbon black heavy weight are finished with a matte silver baked paint reminiscent of the stainless steel model, creating a presence unique to the silver model reminiscent of a white hawk dancing in the darkness.
