[Slide Assembly Custom Features] The dedicated 5.0-inch slide is newly crafted from the company's renowned carbon black heavyweight material. The upper left and right sides of the slide feature a lightweighting process known as Tri-Cut, creating a distinctive trapezoidal shape when viewed from the front. The lower front portion of the slide is angled to match the subframe (chassis), creating a silhouette that dispels the traditionally old-school 1911 image.
Two cooling holes at the front of each side and a panel cut in the middle add a lightweight accent to the design and create a sporty look. In addition, everything from the precise serrations added to the flattop to the bold front cocking serrations are luxuriously recreated through machining.
The enlarged front sight is equipped with a fiber optic that glows green under light. Combined with the fully adjustable bomber sight, the rear sight allows for fine adjustments up, down, left, and right, creating a surefire combination for shooting. The bomber sight leaf is also snag-free by matching it to the slide's tri-cut design, a unique feature of tactical guns that prevents it from catching on clothing.
[Frame Assembly Custom Features] The tip of the full-metal subframe with an extended dust cover features a blade-like standoff structure reminiscent of a fang, creating an aggressive look when viewed from the front. The modular grip frame, which is integrated with the trigger guard, is made of reinforced resin to reduce deflection during handling. Double undercut processing has been added in two locations. This design allows for a higher grip, including the weak hand, when holding the gun double-handed.
The ambidextrous extended thumb safety and slide stop, which can be operated from either side, are recessed one level lower than the metal subframe (chassis), helping to prevent accidental lever activation. The high-ride grip safety protects the base of the thumb from being injured by the hammer when gripping the gun high. While retaining this functionality, the tail section has been shaped to make it as compact as possible. A memory bump at the bottom allows for easy release of the grip safety. The grip is equipped with a wide-head magazine release button and an oversized magazine well for quick mag changes, and these custom parts, inheriting the pedigree of a race gun, deliver high operability.

● Slide Maintenance: The surface finish of the carbon black heavyweight material is not treated with paint or other coatings, as an emphasis is placed on preserving the natural texture of the material. As a result, unlike painted finishes, the layer of alloy powder mixed into the material is exposed, which may oxidize or discolor over time or with frequent use. After use, we recommend regular maintenance, such as wiping off any dirt (such as hand sebum) that has accumulated on the surface of the material with a silicone spray (sold separately).

For this film, Taran Butler, the firearms advisor for the film and known as a US 3-Gun champion and current owner of TTI, created a 9mm double-stack 1911 tactical custom model. Following this background, WA has modeled the next-generation double-stack 1911 specialized for 9mm caliber, which is currently attracting attention from law enforcement agencies, as the SVI Tactical 5.4, which has been very well received.
