This electric gun is a model of the Type 96, a light machine gun developed and adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army in the early to mid-1930s. This gun follows many of the appearances and mechanisms of the Czechoslovakian ZB26 light machine gun, the ZB26 used by the Chinese Nationalist Army, and the improved ZB30. After being put into practical use in the Second Sino-Japanese War, the Type 96 was also used by allied forces such as the Manchukuo Army in the Nomonhan Incident and the Greater East Asian War, and is a representative Japanese light machine gun that is widely seen in movies and games that feature the Japanese military as a theme.
[Full metal receiver & barrel] The receiver and barrel are made of lightweight and robust aluminum alloy. The surface has a matte black finish, creating a heavy texture. [Realistic moving parts] The exterior parts, which are a major feature of the Type 96 light machine gun, are also realistically reproduced. The dedicated bipod at the front for stabilization when firing and the dial-type rear sight are also movable. [Real wood stock & carrying handle] Real wood is used for the stock and carrying handle. [Full metal receiver & barrel]
The receiver and barrel are made of lightweight and sturdy aluminum die-cast. Although it is made of aluminum alloy, the surface is finished in matte black so as not to impair the heavy texture and size appropriate for a light machine gun. The large barrel with bellows-shaped heat dissipation processing and the unique method of attaching the magazine to the top of the receiver are also realistically reproduced.
