About the Whitneyville Hartford Dragoon:
The original Colt Whitneyville Hartford Dragoon—also known as the "Hartford Dragoon" or "Transition Walker"—was a model produced in very limited quantities (approximately 240 units) in late 1847. It combined the grip, frame shape, and hammer mechanism of the Walker model with the cylinder and barrel of the Dragoon. Much like the rare Walker, the Whitneyville Hartford Dragoon is highly sought after and commands high prices within the American antique firearms market. We have produced a limited number of this model as a variation of the Dragoon. We hope you will cherish this piece—which holds significant importance in the history of Colt firearms—as a lasting addition to your collection.
[Specifications] Frame: Case-hardened. Barrel, cylinder, and backstrap: Blue-black finish. Trigger guard: Machined aluminum with an anodized brass-colored finish. Cylinder engravings included. Features walnut wooden grips with a wiped-oil finish. Replicates the distinctive hook-style loading lever latch.
SPG-certified: Compliant with the voluntary safety standards set by the Japan Toy Gun Cooperative.
