About This Product
Based on an actual firearm specimen housed at the NRA Museum, this model precisely reproduces the specifications and appearance of the original using modern manufacturing technology. While previous "Dirty Harry" models primarily followed the specifications of the "M29-2" and later variants, this product adopts a distinct approach.
Building upon previous M29 model gun designs, every component has been fundamentally re-evaluated and significantly upgraded. By incorporating a newly designed internal weight within the barrel, the model achieves a front-heavy weight balance and a sense of structural rigidity remarkably similar to that of a real firearm.
For the markings, a custom font was developed to replicate the specific typeface characteristic of the transitional period when S&W shifted to a model numbering system; this ensures that the atmosphere of that era—from the frame to the barrel—is faithfully reproduced. This meticulously crafted model captures the full, undiluted appeal of the early-production M29.
Overall Length: 306 mm | Weight: 945 g | Capacity: 6 rounds | Main Materials: Heavyweight Resin + Zinc Die-cast + Wooden Grips | Accessories: 6x .44 Magnum Firing Cartridges | Specifications: Firing type (uses 7mm cap primers) | Frame Type: N-Frame, Square Butt

Product Introduction
Based on an actual firearm specimen housed at the NRA Museum, this model precisely reproduces the specifications and appearance of the original using modern manufacturing technology.
While previous "Dirty Harry" models primarily followed the specifications of the "M29-2" and later variants, this product adopts a distinct approach.
The specific subject chosen for this reproduction is the "First Model" (early production variant) bearing the serial number "S206921"—the very firearm presented as a gift to the aforementioned screenwriter, John Milius. While surviving examples of the original firearm often feature replacement grips installed in later years, this product—drawing upon historical research and the manufacturing context of the era—adopts the distinctive "Coke Bottle" grip. Named for its unique, contoured profile resembling a Coca-Cola bottle, this grip style is characteristic of the early production models.
Envisioned in its original, factory-fresh state, this model gun has been faithfully resurrected for the modern era.
Furthermore, building upon the foundation of our previous M29 model guns, we have fundamentally re-evaluated and redesigned every component to deliver a significant upgrade.
By incorporating a newly designed internal weight within the barrel, we have achieved a front-heavy weight balance and a sense of structural rigidity that rivals the actual firearm.
The markings feature a custom-designed font that accurately replicates the specific typeface used during the transitional period when the manufacturer shifted to a model-numbering system, thereby faithfully recreating the authentic atmosphere of that era—from the frame to the barrel.
As previously mentioned, the grips are crafted from high-quality walnut and feature the "Coke Bottle" profile, offering a superb ergonomic fit combined with a satisfyingly substantial weight.
Additionally, we have meticulously reproduced details that have since vanished from modern production, such as the "4-screw" frame configuration and the distinctive appearance of the early-style ejector rod (specifically, the visual design of a right-hand thread—though the actual mechanism does not utilize a right-hand thread).
Moreover, we have retained the "counterbored" cylinder—a hallmark feature of this specific era—from our previous models, further enhancing the immersive realism experienced when loading cartridges into this firing model gun.
This meticulously crafted model encapsulates the full, undiluted appeal of the early-production M29 revolver.
